Transportation To and Around Taos

There are a lot of ways to get to Taos, NM. You can get there by plane, bus or automobile.

By plane, try either The Albuquerque International Sunport or Westward Airways (a commuter service).

By bus, try Greyhound.

Of course, the drive through the mountains is always beautiful... click here for a map to Taos.

Once you've arrived, you'll want to find the Festival!  Not really hard- Kit Carson Park is on Paseo del Pueblo Norte (north), the main road through Taos – just a bit north of the Plaza.  Click here for a map to Kit Carson Park.

Didn't drive? No problem. Taos has its own bus line - The Chile Line. You can get their schedules and pickup/drop off locations by calling 505-737-2606.

Can't bear t wait for the bus? That's OK, too. Try renting a car at either Enterprise Car Rentals or Cottam-Walker Ford L-M, Inc.

Where to stay once you’re here

So many choices!  We can’t possibly name them all, but you hardly can go wrong.   Taos has all the major chains and many individual hotels/motels as well.  There are many B&Bs too.    A link for the Taos Association of Bed and Breakfast Inns (TABBI) is offered here:  www.taos-bandb-ins.com to help you get started.   Or check the Chamber of Commerce link (see top and bottom of this page).
